Traditional “Areni Wine Festival” is being organized in Areni village of Vayots Dzor region on the first Saturday of October. Areni is known to many as the cradle of winemaking. Almost everyone in the village has created all the facilities for viticulture and wine production in his house and in his garden.
Taking into account the agricultural and touristic potential of this place, years ago it was decided to hold the “Areni Wine Festival”, which would give domestic winemakers the opportunity to present their products to a wider audience.
